        We recommend using one of our Billet Aluminum trays for a stronger hold and for a show quality installation. This battery will fit any of the Barch Designs' Optima Trays that begin with part# "7525" such as #7525-XXCS. This battery is designed for engine starting applications. It is not recommended or warranted for use in deep cycle applications. If you need a deep cycle battery use an Optima Battery with a model# beginning with "D" (Yellow and Blue Tops).

Recommended Charging Information
It is recommended to fully charge the battery before using it for the first time.

Alternator:	13.3 to 15.0 volts; no amperage limit
Battery Charger:	13.8 to 15.0 volts; 10 amps maximum; 6-12 hours approximate
Float Charge:	13.2 to 13.8 volts; 1 amp maximum current (indefinite time at lower voltages)
Rapid Recharge:	Maximum voltage 15.6 volts. No current limit as long as battery temperature remains below 125°F (51.7°C ) Charge until current drops below 1 amp

F.A.Q.

Q: Why do Optima Batteries have so many different Part #'s and Model #'s?

A: Optima only has one official part number for each battery, such as 34M. The rest of the numbers on the battery are labeled to the reseller's specification and also to specify how the battery is boxed. For example, a part# starting with an 8 (i.e. 8006-006) means that the distributor packages the battery in their own box. The same battery can also have a part# which starts with a 9 (i.e. 9006-006) which means that Optima has boxed the battery before selling it to the distributor. They are the same brand new battery and come with all the same accessories, it's just a matter of how it is boxed.


Q: Do I need one of your Billet Aluminum Optima Trays to install this Optima Battery?

A: No. Most Optima batteries come with a plastic mounting adapter to be able to install it in the factory tray. However, if you are mounting the battery in a unique location or want a more secure hold down then we recommend one of our Billet Aluminum Optima Trays. We can also custom engrave the trays to match your specific car or boat.
